About the Event
This event is part of the Black Alphabet Film Festival 2023.
We will screen 3 films about the LGBTQ+ experience in Uganda, the experience of seeking asylum, and the experience of living free from political and social persecution. Hear real stories from people who have lived through persecution, and find out how we can help our LGBTQ+ brothers and sisters abroad. Enjoy Ugandan entertainment, food, and dancing.
We are asking everyone to wear Black, Gold, and Red in honor of Uganda, or you may purchase special Ugandan Freedom apparel in our store.
