About the Event
Celebrate the Season with Purpose
This holiday season, join Black Alphabet and Rapbrary, the visionary literary and cultural space founded by Chicago librarian and rapper Roy Kinsey, for a Banned Book Drive & Dinner.
Enjoy an evening of great food, entertainment, and community, featuring a special live performance by Roy Kinsey himself. Bring a friend and contribute to the cause by donating new or gently used banned or challenged books, children’s books, or works by Black and LGBTQ+ authors.
Together, let’s celebrate stories that inspire, challenge, and empower.
