Mezcla's Writers Group Meetup

Mezcla’s Writers Group is a quarterly meetup for writers in the Chicagoland area to come together and write in a supportive/collaborative environment.

This group focuses on the act of writing itself rather than on finishing a polished piece. We aim to create a comfortable space where writers can escape the distractions of home or work and concentrate on their writing.

This month, we will convene at the Jamii Center for Arts and Media in partnership with Black Alphabet. Powered by Black Alphabet, the Jamii Center was born out of a desire to explore how art and wellness can serve as powerful tools to gather, heal, and empower communities.
